A Creative Home
I was inspired by a colleague who showed me his newly purchased laptop cover. It gave me a DIY idea on how I could use these wallpaper samples I picked up from a paint shop to dress up my laptop to represent my creative side.
I found these thick books filled with discontinued wallpaper samples on Craigslist. By the way, craigslist.com is a great site for finding FREEBIES. These books had some very nice and elegant prints inside. Such nice samples for crafting or décor projects (which I plan to have and will upload later).
I cut the wallpaper sample to fit the laptop and sprayed the sample with the above stencil adhesive for pasting to my laptop. (Please follow the directions on the back of the adhesive spray, and later if you want to remove your cover, any residue left on your laptop from the adhesive can be easily removed with baby oil.)
This is the end result! I used two of the wallpaper samples, and for the second one you can see I cut out the decorative shape and pasted it on top of the other wallpaper. This is totally ME!!
